Where: Trust Management → Trust Center → Settings tab, under the Enable Trust Center card.
Who: admins, or members whose department can edit the Trust Center module. You also need access to your domain's DNS settings.
Before you start: the Trust Center must be enabled. The domain section only appears after you click Enable. See Turn on your Trust Center.
Steps
- Open Trust Center settings.
- Under the Enable Trust Center card, click Add Your First Domain.
- In Manage DNS records, enter the Hostname you want to use, for example
trust.example.com, and click Add host. - Vamu shows the records to create: the pre-validation TXT name and pre-validation TXT value, the TTL, and the CNAME key and CNAME value. Use Copy next to each.
- In your DNS provider's settings, create the TXT and CNAME records with exactly those values.
- Back in Vamu, click Verify. DNS changes can take a while to spread; if verification fails, wait and try again.
The domain card then shows Verified with the date. Until then it shows Pending / "Not verified yet".
To change the domain later, click Edit on the domain card.
