Add a compliance framework

Frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NCA ECC and so on) bring their controls, tests, policies and documents into your workspace.

Where: Dashboard → Compliance → Frameworks, or open Company Frameworks. The Add framework button on the Home page's Compliance frameworks card opens the same page.

Add a standard framework​

  1. Open Standard Frameworks.
  2. Active frameworks have a green dot and show your compliance percentage. For a framework you don't have yet, click Request Framework.
  3. The Vamu team receives your request and adds the framework to your workspace.

The Home page also suggests frameworks you nearly qualify for, click Request next to one to ask for it.

Free-tier workspaces are limited to one framework.

Create a custom framework​

  1. Open Custom Frameworks and click Create New Framework.
  2. Enter a Name (up to 25 characters) and optionally upload an Image.
  3. Under Controls, add at least one control: its Title, Code, Description and Group. Groups use the format CODE Title, for example 1.1 Governance. Click Add Control for more rows, or Import Controls to load them from a file.
  4. Click Create Framework.

On an active framework's card, click More info to open its controls. See Work with controls.
