Track non-conformities

A non-conformity is an audit finding: something that doesn't meet a requirement. Tracking it end to end lets external auditors trace finding → documentation → risk → remediation.

Where: Dashboard → Risk Management → Non-Conformity, or open Non-Conformity.

Log a non-conformity

  1. Open Non-Conformity and click New Non‑Conformity.
  2. Enter the Title and describe the non-conformity.
  3. Set the Severity: Critical, Major or Minor.
  4. Link the related Risks, Policies and Documents, choose the Owner, and add a Note if useful.
  5. Click Create.

It appears in the Non Conformities Log with its severity and status (Open).

Work on it

Click a non-conformity to open it:

  • Overview shows the Non-Conformity ID, creation date, owner and status.
  • Under Linkage, click Change next to Linked Risks, Linked Policies or Linked Documents to update the links, then Save changes.
  • When it is remediated, click Close Manually. Use Open Manually to reopen it.

Good to know

  • An open non-conformity keeps its linked risk incomplete ("Risk remains Incomplete") until it is closed.
  • The Reports tab shows totals by severity and the risks blocked by open non-conformities. Click Generate PDF to export the report.
